Photo Festival “Horizonte Zingst”
"Images against walls"
Location: Zingst, Germany
at the Ostsee (Baltic sea) – there is a special exhibition “Images against walls”about 20 years after the wall and the iron curtain.
Images will be exhibited as the slideshow in the so called “Panzerhalle” (tank hangar) in the former military area.

"Images Against walls"は、東西ドイツの壁崩壊２０周年を記念したプロジェクトの巡回展です。世界各国から多数の写真家が画像で参加しています。
今回はドイツのバルト海沿いの街、ツィンクストで開催される写真フェスティバル“Horizonte Zingst”において、旧軍事エリアのPanzerhalleと呼ばれる戦車格納庫跡でスライド・ショーが行われます。
三田村光土里は、戦火を逃れた東京下町の長屋で制作した作品『編む女の棲む長屋』を、池田みどり（池田晶紀とのアートユニット）による写真作品の画像で参加しています。

写真集『池田みどり』
池田みどり（池田晶紀＋三田村光土里）／ブックデザイン：菊地敦己
長屋と古い町並みが残る墨田区の京島の夜の路地を舞台に、不確かな物語の断片を演じる架空の女性「池田みどり」。
彼女を被写体として変化しても消えずに残る街の空気や匂いを、写真家・池田と美術作家・三田村の二人が、懐かしくも新しい、時空を超えたどこか遠い場所のファンタジーとして提出したのが本作アート・プロジェクト。
【池田みどり】・・写真家の池田晶紀と美術作家の三田村光土里によるアート・ユニット。
お互いの作品の背景にある潜在的な記憶をもとに、新しい風景を写真でドラマチックに視覚化する。2007年結成。2008年には新人作家・池田みどりとし て「第８回ヨーロッパ国際写真フェスティバル“Tickle Attack”に選ばれ、フィンランドとポーランドを巡回。
