≪女木島名店街≫ MEGI Fab ( メギファブ )
女木島の風景をプリントしたテキスタイルによる一点物の布製品を製造、展示、販売するファブリックショップ
MEGI Fab とは、女木島(MEGI)のファブリック(Fabric)の略語です。 築150年の古民家にテキスタイルの空間インスタレーションを展示しな がら、三田村が撮影した女木島の風景をプリントしたオリジナルデザイン の布地を販売しています。来場者は女木島の景色を旅先から日常に持ち帰 り、生活に取り入れることができます。またMEGI Fabの布製小物も製作し、 女木島発のブランドを展開することを目指しています。 会場には、高松の輸入ボタン・ショップ Akaneya のポップアップ・ストア が併設され、ヴィンテージ・ボタンやオリジナルのアクセサリーを購入でき ます。
A handicraft studio producing, exhibiting, and selling one-of-a-kind textiles adorned with Megijima scenery
MEGI Fab means Fabric of Megijima (MEGI). Sceneries of Megijima, photographed and designed by Mitamura, are printed on fabrics. While exhibiting those textile installations in this 150-year-old house, visitors can also bring the scenery of Megijima back from their travels and incorporate it into their daily lives. MEGI Fab also produces small fabric items and aims to develop a brand originating from Megijima. A pop-up store by Akaneya, an imported button store in Takamatsu, is also located at this venue, where visitors can purchase vintage buttons and original accessories.
