Welcome to NEW SIBERIA CAFE.

Here is secret cafe where lovers walking to the north come together.

Manager

"NEW SIBERIA CAFE" that exists at somewhere on Internet secretly.
This cafe serves the place where a couple that had fallen into a forbidden love.
They speak about what they cannot normally talk face-to-face, as if they are strangers.

This intangible Internet cafe appears in the three-dimensional world to take place in a public art space and it realizes the small cafe straying between reality and unreality.
In that space, only the aura of emotion that is exchanged between a man and a woman who are walking to the north, floats vacantly and mysteriously.

ようこそニュー・シベリア・カフェへ。

ここは北へ向かう恋人たちが集まる秘密のカフェです。

支配人

「ニュー・シベリア・カフェ」という名の秘密のカフェが、インターネット上のどこかに潜んでいる。
これは、人の道に背く恋に落ちた一組の恋人たちが、普段は面と向かって口に出せないお互いの思いを、第三者になりすまして語り合うために存在する。
この形を持たないインターネット上の「ニュー・シベリア・カフェ」が三次元のギャラリース・ペースに置き換えられ、現実と非現実の狭間をさまよう小さな部屋が姿を現す。
そこには、北へ向かう恋路を歩く男と女の、絡み合う感情のオーラが空虚に妖しく漂う。
このカフェがインターネット上にオープンして約一年。
ふたりの言葉の記録をハードカバー上に収めた。
この本は、誰も手を触れて中を見ることができない。
が、どうしても読みたい人のために、鍵付きのボックスに入った本を十冊だけ用意した。
ただし、鍵が渡されるのは25 年後。
その後、恋人たちがどのような結末を迎えたのか、近況を添えて鍵をお渡しする。
永い永いこの恋の行方を、時の流れに身を委ねて見守ってほしい。
